YUMSUK Admission Requirements

To apply for YUMSUK, it is not only the cut-off mark that makes an aspirant qualify for admission, below are the full admission requirements for the Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano;

• Candidates must select the Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano as their first choice of institution
• They must sit for JAMB and have a score of not less than 150
• Candidates must apply for the YUMSUK Post UTME Form and sit for the exam
• Candidates must have more than the required aggregate assigned to their course
• They must be 16 years old as of January 2026
• Candidates must change institution to YUMSUK if the school they chose earlier was a different one
• D.E applicant must have nothing less than upper second class to be on the safe side
• UTME applicants must have credit in five relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language
